Bilingual Collections Representative
Full-Time Permanent
Location: Mississauga, ON
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift options:
- 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Weekend availability required
Salary: Up to $60,000

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
- Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
- Support operations by managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts of financial loans.
- Expertly engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement.
- Complete initial trace work using online tools and account systems.
- Document collections activities and processes through superior administration skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Fully Bilingual in English and French
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a collections, sales, or customer service or call center/contact center role.
- Experience with using an automated dialer system is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task; adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
- Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).
