Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Paid Overtime Available)
Compensation: $40–$47/hour (Equivalent to $83K–$95K annually)

Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of compressed air systems and gas treatment equipment. This includes rotary screw, piston, and oil-free air compressors, air dryers, and filtration systems within biogas and industrial environments.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, self-direction, and professionalism. The successful candidate will thrive in a customer-facing, field-based environment and be comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks and preventive maintenance on equipment including biogas blowers, compressors, vacuum pumps,
- bioscrubbers, and PSA systems
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and service activities
- Optimize preventive maintenance schedules and update service protocols
- Monitor spare parts inventory and manage usage
- Install, commission, and start up air compressors and treatment systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Use mobile field software to maintain detailed service records
- Respond to emergency service requests, including after-hours as required
- Provide professional technical support and customer service
- Mentor junior technicians as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety standards while maintaining clean, organized work environments
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with compressed air systems or industrial gas equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, and control panels (an asset)
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel regionally (mainly day trips)
Preferred Certifications (Assets):
- Licensed Millwright or Industrial Electrician
- Manufacturer training (e.g., Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand)
- WHMIS, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, First Aid
