Bilingual Trainer (Drivers) – Training Center

We are seeking two dynamic and bilingual (French/English) Driver Trainers to join the Training Center in Brampton, Ontario. These roles focus on delivering hands-on driver training, safety coaching, and performance evaluations, ensuring excellence in compliance, operations, and customer service.

Hybrid: Fridays work from home
Hours: Between 6am – 4pm (8-hour shift)

Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Bilingual Trainer (Drivers) delivers, assesses, and coaches driver training programs according to company needs. This role involves evaluating participants, conducting coaching sessions, and ensuring all drivers meet operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver driver training using adult learning and accelerated learning techniques.
- Coach and assess driver performance throughout the training program.
- Provide constructive feedback and complete final trainee evaluations.
- Model professional behavior and set clear expectations for trainees.
- Collaborate with field managers and other trainers to support operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate attendance and training records.
- Communicate operational and trainee updates to the Training Coordinator.
- Stay current on company policies, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Bilingual (French and English) – mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of previous truck driving experience in the industry.
- DZ license or higher preferred.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Work Environment
- This role involves both office and outdoor training environments. Candidates should be comfortable working in variable weather conditions and occasionally handling physical materials (up to 30 lbs).
- Additional Information
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Travel may be required occasionally for training and regional coordination.
