Senior Inside Sales Account Specialist
Full time, Permanent
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 days in office, Friday is a work from home day!)
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary: Up to $65,000 base salary + Up to 20K Bonus

In this role, you will contact Investment Professionals across North America on behalf of our clients. Our clients include banks, asset managers, and public companies across various sectors and industries. Responsibilities
- Completing daily outbound phone calls to generate leads and build relationships from a defined target segment of Investment Professionals (~130/day)
- Updating daily call activities and maintaining accurate records in the proprietary database
- Developing and maintaining an understanding of various industries and financial products (Equities, Mutual Funds, ETFs, IPOs, Structured Products)
- Collaborating with your team to develop innovative outreach strategies for your clients
- Assisting with administrative tasks and special projects as needed by senior team members
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field is required (Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration)
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset (Company will pay if you don’t have it)
- Bilingual French spoken and written is considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous business development or sales experience is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to articulate compelling responses that effectively address objections while maintaining a positive dialogue
- Showcase resilience in the face of objections, turning challenges into opportunities to gather further insight from interactions
- Ability to adapt and adjust strategies accordingly
- Experience using CRM tools to manage interactions and data
- Superior collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of the markets, or strong curiosity to learn
- Solid understanding of financial concepts
- Solid organization and time management skills
